I hope that those who read this will relate. I know this topic has been exhausted.
The Middle Part:
Social media: it's a love-hate thing. Oh, the pulsing desire to be constantly connected, to never feel alone. We thirst for community. It has been made for us too easy to accomplish, and as artificial as the misrepresented lives of those we label "friends".
I want to get away from it. I want to be disconnected. How refreshing and perhaps rehabilitating would that be? Technology is here to stay, and we can't avoid or fight it. It has its place. But we are still people; we are not technology. We should be real people. I should be more real.
The Breakdown:
I should be more real.
The Moral:
Talk to animals, they're listening.
